Box capacity depends on dimensions, safe stacking and whether you need to retrieve anything. A floor-to-ceiling cube calculation overstates what many people can use.
How many boxes could fit?
How to use the range
The upper figure is the model’s practical maximum for that box type, not a safe weight limit. The lower end leaves additional packing tolerance. Heavy book boxes, soft cartons and fragile contents often need shorter stacks.
Mixed boxes and shelving
Mixed boxes use a representative 50 × 38 × 38 cm envelope. If your mix is very uneven, use the item calculator to enter separate quantities. Shelving consumes its own footprint, but may make retrieval safer; include it in your inventory.
Furniture changes the answer
A boxes-only estimate does not leave room for a sofa or fridge. Use the full calculator when storing furniture alongside boxes.
